Reality Blogging - Why Reebles.com?

To conclude our most recent series on Reality Blogging we asked the couple...

Why did you choose Reebles.com?

HIM:
I had found Reebles.com through a search engine, either Goggle or Yahoo – I don’t remember – on the recommendation of a friend who had claimed that there was a safe, legitimate place on the internet that would save me the embarrassment of asking our wedding guests to give us money instead of crap. I checked it out – I signed up – and I am proud to say that my house only contains the crap that I… excuse me, We, bought. No packages to carry home from the reception, no unwanted items that someone else, albeit a friend/relative, thought I would like. Freedom is what I like, so that’s why Reebles was my registry choice.

HER:
I think Reebles is a great idea. We just bought a house and are now starting our lives together. Right now, we don't have the money to be able to get all the things that we want for our home. Yet, with Reebles, instead of using a registry at a store that may be out of our guests' price range, they can give what they feel is in their means and in turn, we can get exactly what we want. If we decide we need one item before another, we can get it now rather than having a item we may not need right away.

Reality Blogging - Part 3

Next we asked, why did you want to marry your fiance?

HIM:

She wouldn’t stop dropping hints, so I decided to just agree to propose to stop hearing about it… you might think that when she reads this post that I’ll be sleeping on the couch tonight, but we don’t have a couch yet. In truth, I wanted to marry my girlfriend because she is the sweetest, most cuddly girl in the whole world. She’s smart, she appreciates me, she’s sexy, and she cares about people. She’s gentle and soft and girly and has a wild side.

HER:

My fiancé is very romantic. He caring, warm, sensitive and isn't afraid to show me affection. The first date we went on, he really impressed me when he was picking me up by getting out of the car coming around to be giving me a hug and opening the car door for me. You just don't see that in guys anymore - it doesn't exist. When we had our first kiss, I literally felt electricity between us. The biggest thing that made me wants to marry him, his patience. We never rushed into anything. He was always careful that we never moved too fast with the relationship. He was always conscious of my feelings and making sure that I felt comfortable with him at all times. Sheesh, I love this man!

Reality Blogging - Part 2

As we continue with our series in Reality Blogging, we asked the couple, "Where do you want to go on your honeymoon and why?"...

HIM:

Disney World - it’s the happiest place on Earth… but with so many families around, I don’t know if that would be the romantic excursion we had hoped for. Cairo, Egypt is a top-choice, but I don’t know how safe Americans are right now in those parts, plus there’s so much sand everywhere… Paris is a viable option. I speak enough French to be able to keep us both up-and-running, it’s beautiful, and there are fluffy pastries and art masterpieces – that’s my answer, Paris… France, not Texas.

HER:

I want to go to Greece so that I can see the Parthenon. I was always enchanted with the ideas and myths of the ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses. Athena was always my favorite to read and learn about. To be able to see the temple that was built to honor and worship her would just be amazing. I don’t think my husband-to-be will like the food.

Reality Blogging - Part 1

Reebles.com has introduced a new featured entitled "Reality Blogging". In this first feature we asked a couple that is about to get married the following questions:

1. What is your biggest fear about getting married?
2. Where do you want to go on your honeymoon and why?
3. Why did you want to marry your fiance?
4. Why did you chose to use Reebles.com?

Neither of them knew how the other responded to the questions...we will post the answers to the questions each day this week...check out the answer to the first question:

1. What is your biggest fear about getting married?

HIM:

Though my fiancé is certainly” low-maintenance” in terms of her desires for worldly possessions, my fear is that I won’t be able to support our needs forever. Kids cost money; gotta keep the heat on and water running in the house; I have to pay school taxes even though I don’t have kids [yet] – that’s absurd. Drowning like Harry Houdini did is probably my biggest fear, but forgetting my rehearsed vows or making a fool of myself [in general] at the ceremony is right up there as well as not having financial stability.

HER:

My biggest fear about getting married is that my "husband" will eventually realize that marriage is forever (or at least is supposed to be) and he'll get bored with me and just want to move on. For some people, one partner in a lifetime isn’t enough - they need variety - they need something or someone to keep things interesting. They might not like the "monotony" of coming home to the same person day after day and knowing that won't change. Personally, it's not "oh I have to go home to my husband again; I have to wake up next to him again." For me, it's "I get to do all those things."
